At Real World Martial Arts we understand that the kids are our future. Our Youth Leadership Program is designed to create a safe, constructive environment. This allows teens to develop a strong sense of self confidence, motivation, and the ability to be self thinkers. We understand it can be easy to fall prey to peer pressure if a child isn’t confident or has no one they feel comfortable discussing tough issues with. In our program we allow free thought and help guide teens into making the right choices.
We bring in specialists to help the students get a grasp on real life self defense and navigating the choices in everyday life. From police officers to aggressive dog specialists and drug councilors we find the people who know the issues that real teens face on day to day basis. Along with speakers, we also do team building events. We will go for pizza and hangout allowing healthy friendships to form. We will go help the community by cleaning a park, or helping out at a food bank. We take pride in the fact that our youth leaders are some of the best kids around. They can’t wait to help out whenever possible. The nucleus of our character building formula is martial arts training. Brazilian jiu-jitsu and kickboxing provide the children with the knowledge to defend themselves.
We look forward to helping every teen in our youth program develop into future leaders.
