Class Descriptions

First 100 Days of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu:  This class covers the basic BJJ curriculum for new students, and is for 2 stripe white belts and below. Uniform (gi) is required on all classes.

All Levels BJJ:  A Mixed Levels Class that allows all belt levels to learn and drill moves and positional transitions that can be universally utilized by beginner or experienced Jiu-Jitsu practitioners. Uniform
(gi) is required on all classes except on no gi classes.

Randori (乱取り):  A term traditionally used in Japanese Martial Arts describing “free-style practice”.  This is a class for two stripe white belts and above. The class allows BJJ practioners to “live train”, testing their skills at real time speed, in a competitive atmosphere.

Advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: This class covers more advanced BJJ curriculum including competition training. 3 stripe white belts and above. Uniform (gi) is required on all classes except on no gi classes.
Advanced/Competition Brazilian Jiu-jitsu:  This class covers more advanced BJJ curriculum with mostly Competition based intensity and training. This class is for 3 stripe BLUE belts and above or by invitation only. Uniform (gi) is required on all classes except on no gi classes.

BJJ Drills:  This Class is part of the Advanced program to improve, flexibility, agility, balance and explosiveness to enhance overall Brazilian Jiu Jitsu performance.

Basic Kickboxing:  Kickboxing Fundamentals. Learn the basics of proper striking, stance and basic footwork, while enjoying an intense workout.

Kickboxing conditioning:  Kickboxing Fundamentals. Learn the basics of proper striking, stance and basic footwork, while enjoying an intense workout.

Advanced Muay Thai:  Sparring and full contact training.

Teen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu:  AGES 12 TO 16 More advanced than Kids and advanced training Regimen.

Women only:  Ladies will learn Realworld Self Defense from a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt.  While training in the most important and practical ways to avoid, and handle Dangerous situation and they also will have a workout class mixing strength training exercises with aerobic activities. A must for ALL Females.

Little Ninjas:  Kids ages 4,5,&6. This class focuses on fundamental and developmental skills including; focus balance, team work, and other life skills.

Kids Martial Arts:  This class covers all aspects of kids martial arts. With a strong foundation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and striking. The goal of this program is to provide all kids with self confidence and the ability to stop bullying before it starts. 

Kid’s Randori:  Live sparring/rolling to help students understand, in a safe and controlled environment, what it is like to apply the techniques they learn during a simulated altercation. This will allow them to understand why we teach them what we do. It will also allow for the students who are thinking about competing to understand what it will be like and to prepare properly.
