George Sernack - Chief Instructor

George has been training in the martial arts for over 25 years. He holds a 5th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 4th degree black belt in Hapkido, and has an extensive background in kickboxing. He also trains with world renowned no rules fighter, Renzo Gracie. With 10 years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training he holds a brown belt under Renzo as well as numerous titles in both standup and grappling arts. Some of George’s achievements include:

Chris Civello - Assistant Instructor


Chris Civello, pictured here, is an assistant instructor at Real World Martial Arts. He holds a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Chris has also trained in Muay Thai, Savate, MMA and spent a year training with Ricardo Almeida. He is also an active competitor in BJJ tournaments. "I love to give the students here at Real World Martial Arts the same attention and care that has been shown to me by my teacher and good friend George Sernack. George and his learning environment have changed me into a better version of myself. I only hope to be able to pass that on to future generations of Jiu Jitsu practitioners."

Ioannis Hronakis (“H”) - Instructor

Ioannis (pronounced “Yanni” but known as "H") has been training in the martial arts with George Sernack since the age of 8 when George opened his first Martial Arts school. Through his training he has earned a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He has been teaching both children and adult classes in George’s schools for the past 8 years, and takes great pride in helping students reach their full potential.
